SHAYA HABIS

Gil Family

This wine has a gold color and a very complex, subtle aroma with a mineral character. You’ll notice citrus notes, white flowers, and ripe stone fruits like peach, apricot, and nectarine, all blended with elegant toasted hints. On the palate, its fruitiness shines in a broad, tasty, and serious profile, while maintaining the freshness from balanced acidity. It finishes very long with bitter fruits, smoked, and mineral notes.

Gil Family

Gil Family Estates is a unique group of eleven wineries spread across Spain’s most iconic wine regions, all united by a shared commitment to quality, tradition, and sustainability. Founded in 1916 by Juan Gil Giménez in Jumilla, the estate remains family-run, now led by the fourth generation, Miguel and Ángel Gil, who continue to honor their heritage while embracing innovation. Each winery in the group has its own distinct identity and style, reflecting the rich diversity of Spanish terroirs. From the powerful reds of Jumilla to the elegant whites of Rías Baixas, their wines tell stories of place and passion. The project goes beyond producing wine; it is about connecting with the land, supporting local communities, and respecting nature through organic and sustainable practices. Gil Family Estates is dedicated to making wines that express the authenticity of their origins. The team focuses on careful vineyard management and thoughtful winemaking techniques, combining traditional methods with modern technology to craft wines with personality and balance. Sustainability is a core value across all their operations, from solar-powered wineries to eco-friendly packaging, reflecting their responsibility toward future generations. This vision of quality and care has earned Gil Family Estates recognition both nationally and internationally, establishing them as one of Spain’s leading wine families, proud to share the diversity and richness of Spanish wine culture with the world.
