Vinos de Arganza

Vinos de Arganza is a family-run winery in Bierzo with deep roots in the region. Over the years, the family has grown to become one of the largest producers in Bierzo, working across many hectares of vineyards. While the winery produces a wide range of wines, what truly captured our attention were their top cuvées made from old Mencía vineyards.

These bottlings are only produced in selected vintages, when the quality of the harvest allows it, and always in very limited quantities. The grapes come from some of the oldest vineyard plots the family owns, selected from across their holdings for their balance, concentration, and expression of Bierzo’s clay-based soils.

From all the hectares they farm, only a small portion is destined for these wines. This careful selection results in Mencía with depth, structure, and elegance, showing the potential of old vines in Bierzo.
