Barrera de Sol
The expression of the Gredos hillsides. Fresh red fruits with round notes of undergrowth, rockrose, and lavender. Driven by the mineral leave of poor, shallow, granitic sandy soils. Long finish with firm structure.

In the glass.
Warm winter causing very early budding. Very wet spring, with great vigour. Mild summer led to a long harvest. A fresh vintage of excellent quality.
At the table.
Tested at our own service. Works particularly well with beef · lamb · game · cheese.
Open 30 minutes before service. Decant for younger vintages. Avoid over-chilling — serve closer to the warmer end of the recommended range when paired with richer dishes.

We don’t follow trends. Biodynamic practices, natural cover crops, and ancestral methods are not part of a marketing story — it’s simply how they understand the vineyard and life itself.
